So I apologize for the previous statement. I have learned today that you are allowed to use the diagram from the outline as long as you cite it properly.

No you cannot. The diagram should be of your own making.

For the apparatus section of the formal lab, are we allowed to take the diagram directly out of the experimental outline if we cite it?
